About Amparo
Amparo Pamela Fabe is a Professor of Financial Terrorism and Transnational Organized Crime at the Philippine Public Safety College and National Police College. She is the Philippine National Police Representative to the ASEAN Senior Official’s Meeting on Transnational Crime and ASEAN Women Peace and Security Committee. Professor Fabe is the Subject Matter Expert on Terrorism Financing in Financial Technology and Virtual Assets of the European Union. She has done Preventing/Countering Violent Extremism studies on foreign terrorist fighters, women involved in terrorism, and child soldiers for international and regional stakeholders. She is an alumna of the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies, the United Nations Interregional Criminal Justice Research Institute, Italy, and the University of Toulouse Jean-Jaureas, France. She is a Visiting Fellow at the European Counterterrorism Jean Monnet Center for Excellence, the International Centre for Policing and Security, at the University of South Wales.
