The Importance of Research Informing Policy

The 2024 AVERT Research Network Symposium brought together leading practitioners, researchers, and policymakers to tackle some of the most pressing challenges in countering violent extremism. She highlights the critical need for collaboration between practitioners and academics to ensure that practical experiences can inform research, and that contemporary research approaches can contribute to effective, real-world solutions.
