The Society for Terrorism Research (STR) has opened its call for papers for the 17th STR International Conference, to be held in July 2025 at Royal Holloway, University of London. It will take place on the 20th anniversary of the 7/7 London transport attacks, providing a crucial space for reflecting on terrorism research in an era of global instability and technological change.

This year’s theme, The Future of Terrorism Research in a Multi-Crisis World, will explore emerging global challenges, including the impact of geopolitical conflict, hybrid ideologies, and technological advancements on terrorism research and practice.

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit abstracts for individual papers, panels, and symposia that contribute to discussions on evolving security threats, counterterrorism strategies, and interdisciplinary research approaches.
