The AVERT Research Network is excited to open registrations for this year’s AVERT International Research Symposium, an in-person event at Deakin University Downtown in Melbourne, Australia, 26-28 September 2023.

This year’s theme is Democracy, Dissent and Countering Violent Extremism. The Symposium will engage with the latest research and practice perspectives on this theme. It aims to bring together Australian and international researchers from a variety of disciplines and practitioners and policy makers at the forefront of the field.

The draft program will be available for registered attendees by 28 August 2023 and the full program will be available by 12 September 2023. Registration to attend the Symposium is free. Please note that this conference is aimed at government representatives, CVE practitioners and academic researchers. To register, you must have a current, eligible professional affiliation.
