Lee Jarvis is Professor of Security and Society at Adelaide University, Australia, and holds honorary professorships at Loughborough University, UK and the University of East Anglia, UK. Lee's research focuses on how security challenges such as terrorism, radicalisation and cyber-threats are constructed and communicated, and the implications of this for democracy, citizenship, communities, and policy. He is author or editor of sixteen books and over sixty journal articles, and co-editor of the jornal Critical Studies on Terrorism. Lee's work has been funded by the ESRC, the AHRC, the Australian Research Council, NATO, and others.
