Dr Katherine Reid is an Assistant Professor of Intelligence and Security Studies in the Department of Criminal Justice and Security Studies at the University of Texas at El Paso. Her recent work focuses on weapons inscription as an emerging phenomenon in contemporary terrorism, documenting how perpetrators embed propaganda directly onto firearms.
