Dr Callum D. Jones

Callum Jones is the Technical Coordinator of the AVERT Research Network, as well as Research Associate in Criminology at Deakin University. His research principally focuses on employing data science and network methods to crime and terrorism, and has published widely in the area of extremism. Recent publications have appeared in New Media & Society, Social Media + Society, Studies in Conflict & Terrorism, and Terrorism and Political Violence. He has also authored a monograph with Routledge, exploring the intersection of global heating and the Australian far right.

Callum also serves as an Associate Editor of Terrorism and Political Violence, one of the leading journals in terrorism and extremism research.
